The Library Student Advisory Committee meets every other Friday for a working lunch in the library. Students help set policies and give advice on titles to add to our collection. New members are always welcome.
One of our projects is Volcano Vista Reads. We encourage students and staff to read and comment on books of certain genre or from an individual author. You can do that on http://vvhsreads.wikispaces.com/ Participants are entered in a drawing for a gift card each month.
Another project is a book exchange. Drop by the library to participate. Easy rules, for every one of the books you bring from your collection, take a book from the cart.
